Annual Veterans Day Event

Ocean Fishing Experience

Warrior for Peace Foundation will host an Annual Ocean Fishing Event in beautiful San Diego, California. The event was conceived, developed and designed to honor our warrior Veterans and their service to our beloved country, their loyalty to the American flag and to give them an event that provides them a day of peace and camaraderie.

The event will be a full day celebration beginning with a fishing adventure and ending with an awards ceremony. First, the Warrior for Peace Foundation will host a fishing adventure for a deserving group of Veterans on boats from the beautiful sport-fishing fleet of Seaforth Sport-fishing. The fishing adventure will offer several trips, covering a range of first-timers to experienced anglers.

As boats return, our event will turn into a dockside awards ceremony and barbecue catered by the Landing Grille. Along with music performed by local talent, guest speakers will be on hand to celebrate the day’s accomplishments with prizes and awards.

The 2023 Ocean Fishing event will be held on Friday, November 3rd, 2023.

*** Please note that the Annual Ocean Fishing Event is a dry event. ***
*** No drugs or alcohol will be permitted. ***

Our Story

How We Got Here

A band of college fraternity brothers from San Diego State University who have been friends for 35 years witnessed firsthand the incredible need to support our Veterans by giving back their time, talents and treasures to this cause. One of those beloved brothers is a Veteran and is the inspiration for this foundation. It was he who chose the Warrior for Peace Foundation name for several reasons. Those reasons include a mission to spread peace throughout the world and helping our Veterans find inner peace within their mind, body and soul.

“We’re all good brothers, each ones the other’s friend and we’ll be good brothers until the very end…..”

Why We Care

We exist to bring light and joy to the lives of those who have sacrificed it all.

We also strive to create a community for those fighting for peace and to provide resources to those who need it, regardless of branch.
